Services

Caretime Services provides domiciliary care and Extra Care for adults throughout Plymouth, West Devon and South Hams. The service is available to private clients as well as those funded through Social Services, Hospitals and other Authorities.

On our several Extra Care sites we provide on-site care services 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

We can support and care for elderly frail adults, people with learning and physical disabilities and those adults having special support needs.

The range of services we can provide includes:

Personal Care

This may include help with washing, dressing and undressing, going to the bathroom, bed making and general personal preparation for the day or going to bed.

Cleaning and House Care

This is about helping to keep a tidy and clean house and may involve vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces and washing up.

Laundry Service

If a washing machine is available we can ensure the laundry is done and hung up or ironed as required. If there is no machine available we can arrange for washing to be taken elsewhere to be done and then returned.

Shopping

Some people want us to escort them for a weekly shop, this can add helpful company as well as support for personal safety. We are also able to do the shopping for you by ourselves; weekly requirements or daily errands.

Community Support

Whether it is companionship that is required or help with finding company or things to do in the community we can provide a trustworthy and friendly support worker.

Meal Preparation

Our carers can help prepare anything from breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper snacks. They can prepare fresh food or heat your ready-made meals in your micro-wave.

We Do Not Do Everything

It is worth you knowing that we provide Carers and Support Workers, not Nurses. We do not provide services for children.
