Community Engagement
Caretime Services is committed to supporting the community and contributes financially to two worthy causes.
We provide money to Waves in Plymouth. This is a one stop shop in Frankfort Gate, acting as a meeting place, information centre and IT base for people aged 50 or over. Our money is used to pay for professionals to be available for an interview appointment to discuss, advise on a number of issues to do with finance, housing and support. See more information here about Waves and how our donation has helped them.
Waves opened in January 2010 - see Plymouth City Council news item
Kelin (Kenya Legal and Ethical Issues Networkon HIV and AIDS) is an organisation based in Kenya. It tries to support women and children who have lost their property rights, usually because other family members reject their rights and takeover the property, -leaving them homeless. Our money goes into their pot to help provide new homes and fight legal battles. You can learn more about Kelin on their website.
